Buttermilk oat bran pancakes
Makes 8 – 10 pancakesI use surplus duck eggs by making pancakes and storing them in the freezer
Ingredients
- 2 duck eggs
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbs cream
- 1 tbs melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 2 tbs oat bran
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Place wet ingredients in a bowl and mix until blended
- Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and stir until mixed
- Mix dry and wet ingredients together
- Heat lightly greased frying pan
- Cook over medium heat
- Store cooled pancakes two in a freezer bag and freezer. Will store for several months
