
Braised tomato and onion
Ingredients
- 3 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 tbs butter
- 2 tbs parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Over low heat, melt butter in a pan
- Add onion slices and toss to coat. Cook 1min
- Add garlic. Cook 1min
- In a greased casserole dish, layer tomato slices and onion slices. Sprinkle dried herbs, salt and pepper on each layer. Sprinkle cheese on top
- Cook in moderate oven for ten minutes
