Ingredients

turnips, peeled and diced

potato, peeled and diced
1
apple, peeled and diced
1
stick
celery, sliced
1
large
onion, diced
1
tbsp
grated ginger
1
tbsp
garlic, crushed
½
tbsp
curry powder
4-5
cups
chicken stock
salt and pepper to taste

tbsp
butter
Instructions
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
Add onion and celery, garlic, curry powder and ginger.
Cook 1 min.
Add turnip and potato and apple.
Cook 2 mins.
Add stock and seasonings.
Cook 20 mins.
Allow to cool for 5 mins.
Strain off half a cup of stock sandpit aside.
Puree soup.
Stir in the reserved stock.
