Cabbage and beef mince chow mein
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- 1 onion sliced and chopped
- 2 carrots sliced
- 1 stick celery sliced
- 1 cup beans sliced
- 500 g minced beef or pork or veal
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup chicken stock
- ¼ cup soup noodles or fine noodles
Instructions
- Warm oil/butter in a large pot with a lid
- Add curry powder and cook for one minute
- Add Onion and mince meat to brown
- Add carrots and celery
- Stir quickly
- Add cabbage and stir quickly
- Stir in Soy sauce. Cook for 15mins
- Add beans and noodles. Cook ten minutes
- You can freeze the Chow mien or store leftovers in refrigerator for a few days
